LOCATION AND GETTING HERE
Getting here couldn't be easier:
We are in Kincraig (PH21 1QD), six miles south of Aviemore, in the Cairngorms National Park.
For transport, intercity city trains stop in Aviemore and Kingussie, six miles distant, while buses stop in Kincraig, 100 metres from Forces Manor.
For driving from the south, take the A9 from Perth to Kingussie, then take the B9152 for six miles to reach Kincraig. From north. South on the A9, take the second Aviemore turnoff, then take the B9152 to Kincraig at the T junction. The town center's Brae, opposite the War Memorial, houses Forces Manor. 300 metres from the memorial.
The closest petrol station is 6 miles north in Aviemore. One more fuel station is in Newtonmore south. South is 8 miles and north is 10 miles in Carrbridge.
