Forces Manor — a one-of-a-kind, self-service hotel offering comfort, character, and complete independence in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
Our model is simple:
We provide the space — you set the pace.
No reception desks. No dress codes. Just a warm welcome, a soft bed, and the freedom to come and go as you please.
Whether you’re here for respite, reunion, adventure training, or just a solid night’s kip, we’ve got a space for you. From private en-suite rooms to family suites, dormitory bunks, and even outdoor pitches for tents and campers — we welcome all ranks, all roles, and all reasons for visiting.

Forces Manor can sleep 60+ guests across 22 rooms.
We offer a range of accommodation, including:
* Private Single Rooms – For quiet reflection or a night off-duty.
* Private Twin & Triple Rooms – Perfect for mates, siblings, or colleagues.
* Private Family Rooms – Spacious and cosy, sleeping 4 to 5 guests.
* Private Family Suite – A roomy two-bedroom suite for 4 to 5 guests, ideal for spreading out and settling in.
* Self-service rooms
*The Little Billet, shared dormitory accommodation – Ideal for units, cadet groups, activity teams, or budget-friendly stays.
Extras & Essentials
* All private rooms come with en-suite showers and toilets (unless otherwise stated).
* Bedding and towels are included free of charge in standard rooms.
* In self-service rooms and dormitories, guests are welcome to bring their own sleeping bags or bedding — or hire a bedding pack on-site for £5 per bed.

For camping - we have a small area up near the Veterans Lounge, where you can pitch a tent and use the facilities within the building. The cost is just £8 per person, per night.
For camper vans - If we can fit you in then we are happy to allow camper vans with electric hook up. You can also use the facilities within the building at £8 per person, per night.
